Boise Hawks host Vancouver through weekend
To quote one of Chevy Chase’s memorable lines in “Caddyshack”: “You’re not, uh, you’re not — you’re not good.” That sums up the season so far for Boise’s minor-league baseball crew. Time for a turnaround! Although the Hawks have the worst record in the Northwest League, the team did finally win back-to-back games earlier this week. Now they’re in the midst of a five-game home stand against the Vancouver Canadians. Promotions: free shirt for first 1,000 fans July 15, purple jersey auction July 16, Kids Club on Sunday July 17.
7:15 p.m., Memorial Stadium, 5600 N. Glenwood St., Garden City. $7-$35. Tickets increase $1 day of game. 322-5000, boisehawks.com.
