Here’s how you can see Matt Damon and ‘Jason Bourne’ in Meridian
Oscar winner Matt Damon will appear in Meridian for a premiere screening of “Jason Bourne,” the fifth in the “Bourne” spy-thriller series, with multiple-Oscar winning producer Frank Marshall.
The event is a benefit for the Treasure Valley Family YMCA’s capital campaign for its new facility in South Meridian.
General admission and a limited number of VIP tickets go on sale at 8 a.m. Wednesday, June 8 on the Treasure Valley Family YMCA website.
“Jason Bourne” will show on four screens at Village Cinema at The Village in Meridian, 3711 E. Longwing Lane, at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 20. Damon, Marshall and YMCA CEO David Duro will introduce the screenings and attend a post-screening VIP reception.
General admission: $45, includes Damon and Marshall introducing the film.
VIP admission (limited amount available): $200, includes seating in the VIP section, the film introduction, and a post-screening reception and Q&A with Damon and Marshall with hosted bar and appetizers. Must be 21 and older.
This will mark Damon’s fourth trip to Idaho. He’s come for each of the first three Bourne premieres. Marshall, the head of Kennedy/Marshall Company, has brought many films to Boise over the years. He and his wife, Kathleen Kennedy, who heads Lucasfilm, lived in Boise for many years. They became involved in the Treasure Valley Family YMCA and keep deep connections here and an affection for the city.
