Savor the Treasure Valley or hit the road to enjoy summer’s bounty
Road-trip season starts this weekend, and June is chock-full of reasons to head out of town. Good day trip or overnight festivals include Hells Canyon Days in Cambridge, National Oldtime Fiddlers Contest and Festival in Weiser, and the Big Water Blowout River Festival in Riggins. Closer to home is Idaho City Phoenix Day, a celebration of the business community that is rebuilding itself following last June’s devastating fire, and Savor Idaho: Idaho’s Premiere Food and Wine Event held at the Idaho Botanical Garden.
