Party for activism at the Community Progressive in Boise

Somebody has to get things done in Idaho, right? Learn about Boiseans who are getting involved, including local nonprofits, workshops, artisans, businesses and more at the sixth Community Progressive. Serious issues will be discussed at this nonpartisan event — including getting people registered to vote, which is part of the day’s agenda. But if you want to just chill, smile, hear some live music and meet people passionate about activism, the beer garden is already calling your name.

11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, May 21, Julia Davis Park, 700 S. Capitol Blvd., Boise. Free.
