Celebrate life, love, memories and simply letting go at the first Treasure Valley edition of The Lantern Fest, an event from the same people who present Slide the City, The Dirty Dash and Color Me Rad. There will be music, kids’ entertainment, food and fun, all culminating with the release of nearly 1,000 balloon-like lanterns into the night sky. Inspired by the ancient Chinese tradition to bring good fortune into the world, this family-friendly gathering seeks to do the same. So, bring your good wishes, hopes and aspirations, write them on a lantern and release them into the world.
