Comedian Kathleen Madigan to perform in Boise
“Leno,” “Letterman,” “Conan” — Kathleen Madigan has done them all. And while many stand-up comedians branch out into related media ventures, Madigan is a bit of a purist. “I just want to tell jokes,” she says. “I didn’t start doing open mics to become an actor on a sitcom or in a TV commercial. Those things never even crossed my mind. I just like to tell jokes for an hour or so and laugh.” You won’t find anyone funnier on an Idaho stage this weekend.
8 p.m. Saturday, April 23, Egyptian Theatre, 700 W. Main St., Boise. $32.50 and $35. TicketWeb.
