Two Boise wedding shows will help you plan your walk down the aisle

You have two chances this month to let the professionals help organize your wedding:

▪  The Wedding Party Show offers more than 100 vendors who can give you ideas for everything from the walk down the aisle to the exotic honeymoon. Attend one of the fashion shows (noon and 3 p.m. Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday), and you could win one of the $1,000 prizes at each. The show runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 10 at the Boise Centre, 850 W. Front St. Tickets are $8 at the door. TheWeddingPartyShow.com.

▪  The Idaho Wedding Showplace Spring Show will be a little more intimate with nearly 40 vendors from photographers to bakers, wedding singers to dressmakers. It’s from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 16, and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 17, at the Clubhouse Event Center, 7311 W. Potomac Drive, Boise. Admission is $7 at the door.
