▪  Meridian’s “Winter Lights Parade” will roll through town at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4. You’ll see dazzling lighted floats and trolleys, dance teams, cars and bands. Stick around for the festive finale as Meridian Mayor Tammy de Weerd lights the city’s tree at Generations Plaza at Main Street and Idaho Avenue.

▪  Celebrate the holidays in Idaho City from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4. You’ll find caroling, holiday crafts, wagon rides and an ugly sweater contest. Santa arrives at the visitors center, 100 Main St., Idaho City, at 6 p.m., and the tree on Main Street will light up at 7 p.m.

▪  Caldwell’s annual Treasure Valley Night Light Parade will glitter down Blaine Street starting at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5. This year’s theme “Decades of Christmas” will offer more than 70 floats decorated with thousands of lights — that’s two miles of night-light parade, making this one of the largest in the Northwest.
