This block party is coming to downtown Boise. There’ll be food, drinks, free music all day

Boise will once again be awash with live music and the smells of good food this coming weekend as the BoDo Block Party returns to the downtown area.

For the second consecutive year, the Warehouse Food Hall and Treefort Music Hall are joining forces to bring the BoDo Block Party, a full-day event located just south of the Boise Center, right next to the Food Hall.

From 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday, you can head to 8th Street between Front and Myrtle Streets for live street performances, food and beverage vendors, family-friendly games and fan events with the Idaho Steelheads.

8th Street will be closed between Front and Broad streets on Saturday.

Live music will also be played inside the Treefort Music Hall, while all of the typical restaurants in the Warehouse Food Hall and other surrounding businesses will remain open.

The event and accompanying music are entirely free to attend.

“The BoDo Block is a vibrant district in downtown Boise, and we want to bring people together to highlight the amazing businesses that make it so special,” Ryan Hickey, director of entertainment and programming for Geronimo Hospitality Group, stated in a news release. “We had a great turnout last year, and we can’t wait to welcome people back to this ultimate block party.”

Once the outdoor partying ends, the Treefort Music Hall will keep the party going with a 21+ after-party at the Hap Hap Lounge until 2 a.m.
