Idaho summer concerts and festivals guide 2022: Let’s rock, Boise!

Outdoor concert and festival season is back — with a vengeance.

After a pandemic-caused, two-year roller coaster, the touring industry is speeding forward full-throttle again.

Outlaw Field at the Idaho Botanical Garden and the Ford Idaho Center Amphitheater will set new records for number of shows. And popular annual traditions such as Alive After Five and the Boise Music Festival have re-emerged.

Here’s a guide to outdoor fun this summer — from food festivals and concerts in Boise to scenic road trips for mountain-town music bashes.
