Cheers to St. Patrick’s Day, Boise! Where to grab the pints and hear the pipes

St. Patrick’s Day is almost here, which means tasty grub, festive drinking and the sound of bagpipes.

Green beer will be flowing like water at many pubs, and some restaurants will be serving up corned beef and other Irish menu items, but call to confirm.

The Boise Highlanders will be making their rounds around the Treasure Valley on Thursday — but that doesn’t quite cover it. The group’s many members also will play shows the day before and the day after March 17.
