After starting the season last weekend with two losses to the Utah Grizzlies, the Idaho Steelheads will head home to Boise for their home opener, a two-game series against — yep, the Utah Grizzlies. This revenge opportunity has the potential to set the tone for the rest of the season. An 0-4 start would be ugly, but getting back to .500 could simultaneously get some momentum rolling. “We did a lot of good things last year,” second-year head coach Neil Graham told the Statesman recently. “... Our returning players are extremely hungry, and I like our mix of new players as well.”
7:10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, and Saturday, Oct. 22. CenturyLink Arena, 233 S. Capitol Blvd., Boise. $18-$35. 331-8497, idahosteelheads.com.
