Timberline girls repeat as 5A District Three tennis champs

Claudia Dominguez and Devon Austin-Canning teamed up to dispatch Columbia’s Kiana and Lysandra Zamudio 6-1, 6-3 for the 5A District Three girls doubles tennis title Friday at Boise’s Julia Davis Park, and their first-place finish helped Timberline repeat as the girls team champion.

Boise won the boys title, led by individual titles from the boys doubles team of Eric Lim and Grant Hilde, as well as the sixth-seeded mixed doubles pair of Garret Katayama and Ella Samer.

Eagle’s Adam Tzeng and Skylar Schossberger swept the singles championships.
