Former Boise State golfer DeLaet qualifies for Olympics
Graham DeLaet (Boise State) qualified to represent Canada in the Olympics, and he will compete in the 60-player tournament at Rio de Janeiro from Aug. 11-14.
The Saskatchewan native, who is 146th in the World Golf Ranking, is the second-ranked Canadian behind David Hearn — and the 41st seed in the tournament.
DeLaet, 34, played in the PGA Tour’s Barracuda Championship, which ended July 3 — his first appearance since May. He finished tied for 29th.
