Deputies seek Caldwell man suspected of making child pornography

The Ada County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a Caldwell man traveling with children who is suspected of creating child pornography.

Jason Simon, 37, has an active warrant on a charge of sexual abuse of a child. Investigators suspect he is evading arrest and might be camping in Sweet, Ola or Valley counties.

Deputies think he is traveling with his girlfriend, Sarah Joy VanOcker-Dunn, and her three children, between 6 and 10 years old.

A third party brought evidence to the sheriff’s office last week that compelled deputies to investigate Simon for child pornography. Simon, VanOcker-Dunn and the three children were last seen in Emmett June 2. Officials think they are driving a gold 2006 Pontiac Montana sports utility vehicle with the license plate: 2CJN683.
