Boise Skateboard Association launches new, interactive website
The Boise Skateboard Association launched a new website. Boiseskateboardassociation.com features live-action videos and an interactive “Skatepark Finder” so skateboard enthusiasts can find the closest parks and easily check their amenities online.
The association has worked in partnership with Boise Parks and Recreation to improve existing local skateparks and highlight new parks. Rhodes Park, a new state-of-the-art skatepark on 16th Street in Boise’s River Street neighborhood is scheduled to open in the spring of 2016.
More about the Boise Skateboard Association: The association began as a group of shop owners, local skaters and community advocates who came together in 2005. The group formed an alliance with Boise Parks and Rec to start improving Rhodes Park.
The Boise Skateboard Association has received support from the J.A. and Kathryn Albertson Family Foundation. Oliver Russell designed the website.
