LocalConstruct breaks ground on Central Addition apartments
LocalConstruct, the company that renovated Downtown Boise's Owyhee Hotel, hopes to complete The Fowler, a 159-apartment building in Boise's Central Addition neighborhood, by the end of May 2017.
The project is located on the west side of 5th Street between Myrtle and Broad streets. LocalConstruct co-founder Mike Brown said Wednesday's groundbreaking ceremony was the result of two years of planning, negotiations and other work.
Brown and his partner, Casey Lynch, think they will prove Boise has a substantial market for upscale apartments Downtown.
