Idaho Potato Drop moves to the Capitol for New Year’s Eve celebration
A new year is just around the corner, and that means Idaho can expect one large potato Dec. 31.
The third-annual Idaho Potato Drop will now take place in front of the Idaho Statehouse along with vendors and a range of activities, according to an event press release.
Fireworks and live music will accompany the event. Vendors selling food and crafts will be on site. Attendees will also have the option to ride an Orbiter 2000 carnival ride, according to the release.
All participants will be able to sign up for a free Uber ride using a special event code: POTATODROP15. Some participants can also opt in for a fancier view of the drop if they get tickets for the VIP experience at the top of the Key Financial Center Building, catered with a bar, according to the release.
