Three-alarm fire guts hookah bar in Garden City
Ali Baba Hookah Bar was closed and no one was inside when passersby noticed smoke coming from the business about 3:45 p.m. Tuesday, the Boise Fire Department reports.
No one was injured, and a three-alarm response prevented flames from reaching adjacent businesses in the 3300 block of West Chinden Boulevard, BFD spokeswoman Tammy Barry said.
Seven engines and three fire trucks responded to the fire. The cause of the fire was ruled undetermined, Barry said.
Damage to the business was extensive, she said, but no monetary estimate was available.
