Wear Orange Walk promotes end to gun violence

The steps of the Idaho Capitol were filled with people wearing orange Sunday, KIVI 6 On Your Side reported. It was part of a nationwide Wear Orange Walk event.

Organized by the group Moms Demand Action, the walk around the capital promoted gun safety and advocated for an end to gun violence.

The timing is significant. Monday is the three-year anniversary of the Sandy Hook school shooting, in which 20 students and six teachers died.
