The ‘PraYnksters,’ the group known for their giving mobs, release a new Thanksgiving video
You’ve heard of flash mobs — groups of people who connect through social media. They meet up at a certain time and location and do unexpected things, such as breaking into pillow fights in city squares, or performing choreographed dances on train platforms.
Members of a local group called the PraYnksters have given the flash mob idea their own spin by organizing “giving mobs.” They’re faith-based, but not affiliated with a particular church.
PraYnkster founder Jeff Agosta and the rest of his kindness crew — who once gave an entire Christmas celebration complete with tree and gifts to a refugee family, purchased donuts for unsuspecting people at the local farmers market this past summer and more —are still up to their old tricks.
They recently surprised several local families with full Thanksgiving dinners. They’ve just released a new video detailing the fun, spirit and charity.
Connect with the PraYnksters on Facebook and watch their past videos.
