Report: Costco may open store in Meridian

Costco is likely to open its third Treasure Valley store at Linder Road and Chinden Boulevard in Meridian, the Meridian Press reports.

The developer and a contractor doing irrigation work on the site would not confirm that Costco plans to open a warehouse in a new, large commercial development at the intersection.

DMG Real Estate Partners owner Dave McKinney said, “We have talked to several tenants; Costco is one of them.” McKinney expects to file a development plan in 60 to 90 days.

Costco currently has stores in Boise and Nampa.
