Boise Metro Chamber names small-business, excellence awards winners
The Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce today announced its 2015 Small Business of the Year and Chamber Excellence Award winners:
Small Business of the Year (small-size category): Telaya Wine Co.
Small Business of the Year (medium-size category): Dutch Bros. Coffee.
Nonprofit Excellence: Boise Rescue Mission Ministries.
Financial Services Industry Excellence: Zions Bank.
Healthcare Industry Excellence: St. Luke’s Boise Medical Center.
Travel Industry Excellence: LiveRez.com.
Government Advocate of the Year: Boise Airport.
The chamber also honored Skip Oppenheimer of Oppenheimer Companies Inc. with its 2015 Hall of Fame Award.
The other finalists for the business and nonprofit awards were:
Small Business of the Year (Small Size): City Peanut Shop, DaviesMoore, Disaster Response Team by Ultra Clean, Garry’s Automotive.
Small Business of the Year (Medium Size): A1 Plumbing and Perfect Air, The Boise Co-op, Cleanup & Total Restoration, WestVet Animal Emergency and Specialty Center.
Nonprofit Excellence: Discovery Center of Idaho, The Salvation Army Boise.
Financial Services Industry Excellence: Harris & Co. PLLC, U.S. Bank.
Healthcare Industry Excellence: BrightStar Care, Regence BlueShield of Idaho
Travel Industry Excellence: AAA Idaho, Enterprise Holdings.
Government Advocate of the Year: AECOM, Gardner Co.
Tuesday’s awards luncheon was presented by Zions Bank; sponsored by the Boise Centre and the Idaho Business Review, and co-sponsored by Capital Matrix Inc. and Clearview Cleaning.
