Ada County Pet of the Week: Dodger
Dodger, 4, is a 60-pound neutered male Siberian husky-Labrador retriever mix. He is a friendly boy who loves people and does well with kids of all ages. However, he is very strong and needs some work on leash-training, so he would be too much for a child to walk alone. Dodger is playful, attentive and energetic. He loves to play fetch and tug-of-war or run around his yard. Dodger doesn’t appear to know many obedience commands, but he is eager to please — a private training class would do wonders for him. Dodger will need a home with no cats or small animals, and a dog introduction is required if you have any other canines at home. Dodger can be vocal in his kennel, so crate-training will be important.
