BASEBALL

Gage Yost, Capital: The senior catcher lead Capital to a 3-1 weekend at the annual Bucks Bags Spring Classic. Yost finished the four games over the weekend 7-for-15 with seven RBIs, including a four-RBI performance against Pocatello and a three-RBI outing against Hillcrest.

SOFTBALL

Autumn Moffat, Eagle: The junior dominated inside the pitcher’s circle at the Sugar Town Softball Tournament, leading the Mustangs to the tournament title. She no-hit Meridian in a five-inning, mercy-rule contest in the quarterfinals, then blanked Kuna during five innings of relief in the semis and limited the Eagle JV to one run on three hits in the championship game. In 17 innings at the tournament, she surrendered one run (zero earned) on four hits while walking two and striking out 20.
