The Borah High boys basketball team strengthened its hold atop the 5A state media poll, remaining the No. 1 team for the fourth straight week.

Borah rolled to its 10th straight win Saturday, dispatching No. 4 Rocky Mountain 50-35 on the road. That victory followed a 71-38 blowout of Mountain View.

But the Lions’ toughest test yet comes Thursday when they travel to No. 2 Centennial, the last team to knock off Borah.

In 4A, Bishop Kelly slid from second into a tie for third and Mountain Home from fourth to fifth after conference road losses. Emmett makes its debut at No. 5 in 3A after winning seven in a row. And Council garnered all eight first-place votes in the 1A Division II poll.
