Lillie Smith, Emmett: The sophomore guard averaged 18.67 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.67 assists and 3.67 steals last week, leading the Huskies to league wins over Fruitland, Weiser and Payette. She saved her best performance (24 points, seven steals and three assists) for a 58-35 win over Fruitland on Friday, a win that keeps the Huskies (11-3) in a tie for first place in the 3A Snake River Valley.

Damen Thacker, Mountain View: The senior guard poured in 25 points and added five rebounds and three assists in the Mavericks’ 52-50 victory over Rocky Mountain on Thursday. That win lifts Mountain View (8-2, 5-1) into a tie for first place in the 5A Southern Idaho Conference. The Mavericks were picked seventh in the preseason coaches’ poll.
Wyatt Silvis, Nampa: The 220-pounder started the Rollie Lane Invitational unseeded. But he ran through the bracket nonetheless, knocking off the No. 3, No. 2 and No. 1 seeds on his way to winning the prestigious tournament. Silvis edged top-seeded Scott McDonald of Columbia 4-0 in the title match.
