GIRLS BASKETBALL

Rachel Fielder, Rocky Mountain: The Grizzlies played one game last week, defeating Vallivue 50-46 in a 5A Southern Idaho Conference matchup. Fielder, a senior post, scored a game-high 24 points with seven rebounds. Her 24 points were the most scored by a girls basketball player in games reported to the Idaho Statesman last week.

BOYS BASKETBALL

Brock Rice, Timberline: The Wolves participated in the Lake City Invitational in Coeur d’Alene, winning two of three games. Rice, a senior guard, established a new school record by scoring 43 points in a 71-61 win over Lake City. He hit nine 3-pointers in the victory. The previous school record was 37, set by Mitch White during the 2002-03 season. Rice finished the tournament with 88 points.

WRESTLING

Dylan Morgan, Columbia: The Wildcats were the only team to go undefeated during the 5A Southern Idaho Conference duals last week. Morgan, a junior, went unbeaten as an individual at 120 pounds, winning four matches for the Wildcats.
