Bucky Schrader, Eagle: The 5A Southern Idaho Conference’s leading rusher helped the Mustangs to a 51-28 win over Boise. Schrader, a senior running back, ran for 144 yards and four touchdowns on 19 carries — an average of 7.6 yards per touch. Three of Schrader’s touchdowns came in the first quarter.


Dani Nay, Skyview: The Hawks avenged their only 4A Southern Idaho Conference loss of the season by beating Kuna 26-24, 25-19, 29-27. Nay, a sophomore outside hitter, led the Hawks with 15 kills, seven digs and three aces, helping them secure the No. 1 seed in the district tournament.


Sierra Smith, Boise: The Braves won back-to-back 5A District Three Tournament championships with a 1-0 victory over Rocky Mountain. Smith, a 5-foot-3 senior forward, scored the game-winner in the 42nd minute as the Braves improved to 17-0-0 overall.


Cole Fuller, Timberline: The Wolves won their first 5A District Three Tournament championship since 2006 with a 5-2 win against Boise. Fuller scored two goals and added two assists to help the Wolves improve to 16-1-0 and earn the league’s No. 1 seed at the state tournament.


Kari Taylor, Capital: The junior ran to an individual win at the Boise City Championship at Ann Morrison Park. Taylor completed the 5,000-meter race in 18 minutes, 47.70 seconds.


Taylor Phillips, Rocky Mountain: The junior captured an individual victory at the Meridian City Meet at Kleiner Park. Phillips completed the 2.9-mile run in 14 minutes, 58 seconds.
