Sage Diehm, Skyview: The senior and North Carolina signee helped the Hawks win three 4A Southern Idaho Conference games last week, going 7-for-8 at the plate with a double, two triples and 10 RBIs. The lefty also earned a 5-0 victory on the mound against Middleton, pitching six innings while giving up three hits with 16 strikeouts and one walk.
Isabelle Butler, Boise: The junior shortstop and Boise State commit had a monster week at the plate. In her last five games, Butler has gone 16-for-19 with four doubles, eight home runs and 20 RBIs.
GIRLS TRACK & FIELD
Sara Christianson, Borah: The junior had a breakthrough performance in the 1,600 meters at the YMCA Invitational at Mountain View High. Christianson broke the 5-minute barrier, winning the race in 4 minutes, 58.66 seconds. It was the fastest 1,600 on Idaho soil this season. Christianson also won the 800 meters.
BOYS TRACK & FIELD
Garrett Calhoun, Timberline: The junior posted the second-fastest 800-meter time in the state this season, according to athletic.net. Calhoun won the event in 1 minute, 53.74 seconds at the YMCA Invitational at Mountain View High.
Bianca Mok, Boise: The three-time defending state champion won the No. 1 singles title at the Capital Classic Invitational over the weekend. Mok defeated Centennial’s Ellie Gamble 6-2, 6-1.
Jacob Schoenherr, Boise: The senior won the No. 1 singles title at the Capital Classic Invitational over the weekend. Schoenherr defeated Borah’s Kyle Whittaker 2-6, 6-1, 7-6 (1).
Kinsley Bonfilio, Bishop Kelly: The senior and Boise State signee won the girls individual title at the Eagle Invitational. Bonfilio carded a 70 at BanBury Golf Club.
Josh Gliege, Eagle: The junior and Texas A&M commit won the boys individual title at the Eagle Invitational. Gliege carded a 68 at BanBury Golf Club.
