GIRLS BASKETBALL

Lita Forse, Caldwell: The Cougars defeated Vallivue 48-41 in a 4A Southern Idaho Conference game last week. Forse, a senior post, dominated inside the paint with 18 points and 10 rebounds in less than 19 minutes of action. Forse shot 7-for-13 from the field (53.8 percent).

BOYS BASKETBALL

Reece Robinett, Middleton: The Vikings earned a key 4A Southern Idaho Conference victory, beating Skyview 64-59 last week. Robinett, a senior forward, scored a game-high 27 points in the win. He was 8-for-11 from the floor and 10-for-12 from the free-throw line with four rebounds and two assists.

WRESTLING

Jaron Chavez, Centennial: The senior repeated as the 160-pound champion at the Rollie Lane Invitational at the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa over the weekend. Chavez earned a 13-1 major decision over Dylan Feldmeier of Baker (Ore.) in the championship match.
