Slayter Jeffries, Eagle: The Mustangs kept their perfect record with a 48-39 victory over Coeur d’Alene in the 5A state quarterfinals. Jeffries, a senior quarterback, led the Mustangs in scoring with four rushing touchdowns and 148 yards on the ground. Eagle (10-0) hosts Mountain View (9-2) in the state semifinals at 7 p.m. Friday at Thunder Stadium.

Wyatt Storer, Skyview: The Hawks advanced to the 4A state semifinals with a 62-13 rout of Wood River on the road. Storer, a sophomore quarterback, broke Skyview single-season records for completions (239), passing yards (3,175) and touchdowns (42) while going 29-for-41 for 438 yards and seven touchdowns. The Hawks (8-3) play Skyline (10-0) at 8 p.m. Friday at Holt Arena in the semifinals.
1A DIVISION I FOOTBALL
Caleb Zimmerman, Notus: The Pirates earned a spot in the 1A Division I state semifinals for the first time since 2002 with a 38-36 win over Prairie. Zimmerman, a junior quarterback, completed 18-of-28 passes for 304 yards and three touchdowns and added six solo and four assisted tackles in the win. Notus (9-1) plays Raft River (10-0) in the semifinals at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at Holt Arena.
1A DIVISION II FOOTBALL
Canyon Harper, Salmon River: The defending 1A Division II state champions knocked off Deary 40-34 in the quarterfinals. Harper, a sophomore running back, collected 266 yards and four touchdowns in a rematch of last year’s title game. Salmon River (9-1) plays Carey (7-3) in the semifinals at 5:30 p.m. Friday at Holt Arena in Pocatello.
