Thursday’s high school football previews

CAPITAL AT BOISE (DLP)

Boise surprised Borah last week with an overtime victory, and the Braves hope to continue that streak against Capital. The Eagles have swept their three Boise School District foes for 11 straight seasons.

TIMBERLINE AT MIDDLETON

Timberline is one win from starting back-to-back seasons with four wins in a row, which would be a program first. The 5A Wolves beat 4A Middleton 33-16 last season, and they are coming off a win last week over two-time defending 4A state champ Bishop Kelly. Middleton earned its first win of 2015 by shutting out Columbia 47-0.

GOODING AT SKYVIEW

Skyview is 0-3 for the first time since 2008 but could get back on track against 3A Gooding. The Senators haven’t lost a game yet this season against 2A opponents New Plymouth, Nampa Christian and Wendell.

EMMETT JV AT NAMPA CHRISTIAN

Nampa Christian picked up this game to replace an originally scheduled meeting against Nyssa, Ore.
