MERIDIAN 22, CENTENNIAL 19

Quarterback Tyler Hollingsworth was 11-of-21 for 117 yards with a touchdown in the air and another on the ground as the Warriors rallied past Centennial.

Centennial jumped out to a 9-0 lead with a safety and a 75-yard kickoff return from Jace DeGrange in the first quarter. They took a 12-0 lead with a field goal in the second before Meridian came roaring back.

Kordell Crawford returned an interception for 25 yards and a score to get Meridian on the board.

BORAH 48, KUNA 33

The Lions put up 28 points in the second quarter en route to a commanding win.

Borah quarterback Hayden Brown threw for 242 yards and four touchdowns on 14-of-24 passing. Chris Hugon hauled in three of those scores, including a 56-yarder in the second quarter, and finished with 197 yards on eight catches.

Kuna quarterback Ben Ruwe threw for three touchdowns and ran for two more.

TIMBERLINE 33, BOISE 3

Timberline’s defense held its crosstown rival to 165 yards of offense and Sam Rucklos’ 29-yard, third-quarter field goal as its only points.

Payton Harris returned an interception 5 yards for a defensive touchdown as the Wolves ran out to a 26-0 lead in the third quarter. Mitchell Peirsol, Matt Roberts and Joey Manibusen each ran for a touchdown, and Justin Lavin hit Terek Zimmerman for a 35-yard TD pass.

Boise quarterback Will McMullin went 22-of-40 for 127 yards with two interceptions.
