Dutch Bros. raises nearly $5,000 for Mountain View football player who suffered from a stroke

The Meridian branch of Dutch Bros. raised $4,722 during its Aug. 10 fundraiser for Jacob Prindle, a Meridian teenager who suffered from a stroke recently.

The coffee shop planned the fundraiser since employees knew Prindle and wanted to help the Mountain View High football player’s family with their medical expenses, according to a Dutch Bros. press release.

Dutch Bros. worked with Mountain View High School to plan the fundraiser and donated $1 from every drink sold on Aug. 10 to the Prindle family.

“We are incredibly thankful to be part of a community that can rally together to help one another,” said Natalie Brown, Dutch Bros. Meridian spokesperson. “Our Meridian community is so kind and generous. It was wonderful to see everyone come together to support Jacob and his family.”

Prindle also has a crowdrise site up that’s raised more than $8,000 as of Wednesday.
