Branden Anderson was 10-of-20 for 136 yards, including a 27-yard TD pass to Tucker Williams, and the Patriots ended a 14-game losing streak with a 5A SIC pod victory. Williams finished with 58 receiving yards.
Jace DeGrange opened the scoring for Centennial when he returned a blocked kick in the second quarter. James Fisher led Centennial with 68 rushing yards and a touchdown.
Pedro King rushed for 112 yards on 20 carries for Nampa, while Kooper Wilcox was 10-of-19 for 99 yards and a 22-yard rushing touchdown.
MOUNTAIN VIEW 69, VALLIVUE 14
The Mavericks dominated in all facets of the game, outgaining Vallivue 290-152 on the ground and 273-66 in the air. Tucker Rovig was 8-of-14 on his way to those 273 yards and four touchdowns. TreyTon Bell rushed for 183 yards and four touchdowns on eight carries. Bell and Joe Farris each had 100 receiving yards, and Farris added two touchdowns. Jerred Monnier led Vallivue with 88 rushing yards and a touchdown. Mountain View led 35-0 in the first quarter.
PARMA 43, WEISER 21
Payton Pinz rushed for 134 yards and two touchdowns, while Jimmy Dawson rushed for 126 yards and two more TDs as the Panthers earned a conference victory. Parma outscored Weiser 16-0 in the final frame to put the game away. Matt Pritchard was 12-of-20 for 171 yards and a touchdown for the Wolverines, while Bridger Bumgarner had 82 receiving yards and a score.
NEW PLYMOUTH 28, MARSING 0
Jake Wilson rushed 30 times for 155 yards and a 9-yard touchdown run. Riley Harris rushed five yards for a score and threw an 8-yard touchdown pass to Tate Yager. David Cornett wrapped up the scoring for New Plymouth with a 5-yard run.
SALMON RIVER 28, COUNCIL 22
Council’s Brett Rosenkrance scored on a 13-yard reception with 7 seconds left on the clock to bring the Lumberjacks within one score, but Salmon River recovered the onside kick to preserve a conference victory. On the previous possession, Canyon Harper intercepted a pass and returned it for a touchdown with 1:30 left to give Salmon River some insurance. Devin Buys carried the ball 44 times for 243 yards and a touchdown for the Savages.
MELBA 14, COLE VALLEY 0
Devin Edmiston scored on a 31-yard pass from Eli Bangerter, and Jared Rainboth rounded out the scoring with a 5-yard run as the Mustangs earned a shutout. Christian Chavez rushed for 109 yards for Melba, which led 7-0 at halftime. Caleb Ritchie led Cole Valley with 57 yards on 11 carries.
