The Boise Capitals fell 21-0 in seven innings to Washington’s Kennewick Outlaws on Thursday in the second round of the American Legion baseball Northwest Regional Tournament.
Hunter Weindel broke up Kennewick’s no-hit bit in the sixth inning for the Capitals (31-14), who draw from Capital High. They next face Washington’s Bellingham Post 7 at 3 p.m. Friday in an elimination game.
Earlier in the day, the Capitals beat tournament host and Wyoming’s Cheyenne Sixers 10-6. Jordan Godeny-Scott went 3-for-5, while Bradley Jekich went 2-for-4 with a double and four RBIs.
