The Braves are both looking for a new head coach as Brad Dalton stepped down after five years at the head of the program.
Dalton said he resigned to spend more time with his family and young children. He also resigned as the coach of the Boise Seminoles American Legion club.
“I'm not gonna get completely out and will jump back in at some point,” Dalton said. “I just primarily need to see more balance in my life as my kids grow up.”
Under Dalton, Boise High went 53-76 and made the state tournament once in 2013. The Braves hadn’t won a postseason game before his arrival since 2008.
