The Skyview Hawks swept Kuna 25-17, 25-19, 25-14 to win the 4A District Three Tournament championship Wednesday for the fifth consecutive year and the 11th time in 13 seasons.
Top-seeded Skyview (12-1) got a match-high 14 kills from sophomore outside hitter Dani Nay, and setter Demery Dean added 30 assists.
Both teams advance to the state tournament Oct. 30-31 in northern Idaho.
Middleton survived a five-set match against Bishop Kelly to finish third, advancing to a state play-in game Saturday.

5A: VALLIVUE VOLLEYBALL TO DEFEND DISTRICT TITLE
The Falcons (14-3) handed Timberline its first conference loss of the season, guaranteeing the Falcons a spot in the 5A District Three championship match for the second year in a row.
The title match is set for 6 p.m. Thursday at Capital High.
Vallivue will face the winner of a 4 p.m. game between Timberline (13-4) and Centennial (14-4).
The Timberline-Centennial winner would have to beat Vallivue twice to win the district title.
Vallivue, Centennial, Timberline and Eagle have all secured a state berth.
Boise and Rocky Mountain play Thursday for a spot in Saturday’s state play-in game.
