Idaho colleges: College of Idaho women’s soccer wins in OT

Sydney Woods (Meridian High) scored from 25 yards in the 94th minute, and the Yotes (13-3, 9-2) clinched second place in the Cascade Conference with a 2-1 victory over Great Falls on Monday. The game was rescheduled from Oct. 3, when snow prevented the teams from playing in Montana. Reilly Coyle (Bishop Kelly High) also scored for the C of I, which improved to 3-0 in overtime this season. The Yotes will find out Sunday who they face in the Cascade Conference Championships, which begin Nov. 11 in Eugene, Ore.

C OF I MEN’S SOCCER: The Yotes (7-7, 6-7 Cascade) lost to Great Falls 5-0 in Hermiston. The C of I will meet Rocky Mountain in the conference quarterfinals next week.

BOISE STATE WOMEN’S GOLF: The Broncos are 15th at the 20-team Palmetto Intercollegiate in Kiawah Island, S.C. Samantha Martin is tied for 27th at 5-over 149.
