Boise State announced Tuesday that it will sell tickets to Friday’s football game against Air Force for $20 each in honor of the team’s 20 seniors. The tickets are in sections 120-122, the northeast corner of the stadium.
The cheapest regular price for the game is $29 in the north end zone. Seats similar to the ones on sale go for $75.
This is the second straight week that the school has tried a sale to increase attendance. Last week, Boise State sold half-price tickets on Veterans Day. The attendance against New Mexico was 32,780, more than 800 more fans than showed up for the previous home game against Wyoming.
Boise State (7-3 overall, 4-2 Mountain West) needs to beat Air Force this week and San Jose State next week and have New Mexico lose one game to win the Mountain Division. A loss to Air Force would eliminate Boise State.
