I will appear on “Outside the Lines” today to discuss the Sam Ukwuachu story. The former Boise State defensive end was convicted of sexual assault after transferring to Baylor. He was dismissed from the Boise State team in May 2013 by former coach Chris Petersen.

Petersen is scheduled to speak to the media this afternoon. He likely will be asked for more details on his phone call with Baylor coach Art Briles, which has become a source of controversy. Petersen has said he fully apprised Briles of Ukwuachu’s disciplinary record but Briles has suggested he didn’t know the extent of the problems. The sexual assault occurred in October 2013, less than six months after Ukwuachu left Boise.

“Outside the Lines” airs live at 3:30 p.m. MT on ESPN2.
