Here is the Boise State football team’s latest roster

Six walk-ons have been removed from the Boise State football team’s roster since the end of spring ball: kicker Isaac Dodd, offensive linemen RJ Thorne, Sitini Kauvaka and Jake Templeton, tight end Brennyn Dunn and running back/defensive back Jaxon Pryor. Only Dunn had played in a game.

The updated position-by-position roster is at the end of this file. The Broncos can’t add new walk-ons to the roster until fall camp begins Aug. 6.

If you missed it earlier this week, I had a blog post on the tailback competition and a story on brothers Cory and Kelsey Young.

I’m off next week but our Boise State football coverage hits full stride again beginning Monday, July 27. Here’s what to expect:

– 10 a.m. July 27: Dave Southorn and I will hold a live chat while we’re waiting for our flight at the Boise airport. We should be able to go about 30-40 minutes.

– All day July 28: The Mountain West preseason poll and preseason all-conference teams will be announced, the West Division teams meet the media in Las Vegas and Commissioner Craig Thompson holds his annual press conference. We’ll experiment with Periscope, too, broadcasting some live video. You can access those broadcasts through our Twitter links or the Periscope app.

– All day July 29: Boise State coach Bryan Harsin, safety Darian Thompson and center Marcus Henry address the media in Las Vegas. The schedule also includes the rest of the Mountain Division and Bill Hancock from the College Football Playoff. Again, expect some Periscope videos. And, as we have the last couple years, I expect to hold a live chat with the Broncos’ players. That hasn’t been scheduled yet.

– 2:30 p.m. July 30: Dave and I will hold a live chat from the Las Vegas airport on our way out. We should have about 30-40 minutes.

– Thursday, Aug. 6: Fall camp begins.

– Sunday, Aug. 30: Our preseason college football special section runs in the newspaper.
