Boise State football team moves to No. 21 in AP, Coaches polls

The Boise State football team moved up one spot to No. 21 in The Associated Press Top 25 and Amway Coaches Poll on Sunday.

The Broncos (11-2) are the only Group of Five team in the polls. Marshall is next at 28th in both.

Here is how all of the coaches voted in the final Coaches Poll of the regular season. Wyoming coach Craig Bohl voted Boise State No. 10, the highest of any coach.

NCAA STATS

— Team highlights: Boise State finished the regular season at No. 14 in total offense (496.1 yards per game), 12th in pass efficiency (155.68) and ninth in scoring (39.8 points per game). The defense is 39th in yards allowed (366.5), 36th in rushing (141.5), 35th in pass efficiency (117.31) and 64th in scoring (26.5 ppg).

— Individual highlights: Quarterback Grant Hedrick still leads the nation in completion percentage (70.9) and is ninth in pass efficiency (157.8). Tailback Jay Ajayi is third in all-purpose yards (171.2 yards per game) and tied for first in scoring (13.4 points per game). Ajayi is tied for the lead with 29 total touchdowns and in first with 370 offensive touches (44 more than anyone else).

— Boise State leads the Mountain West in scoring offense, total offense, punt-return average, first downs, opponent first downs and opponent third-down conversions. Ajayi leads the Mountain West in scoring, touchdowns and all-purpose yards, kicker Dan Goodale leads in scoring by a kicker (8.6 ppg), defensive end Kamalei Correa leads in sacks (9.5) and safety Darian Thompson leads in interceptions (seven).
