Boise State to sell T-shirts to raise money for Jeremy Ioane

Boise State will sell T-shirts to help raise money for the future medical costs of senior safety Jeremy Ioane, who needs a kidney transplant.

The T-shirts feature the Bronco head logo and the hashtag, “#10ANESTRONG.” The shirts will be $15 and be available at the Boise State Bookstore in the Student Union Building beginning Thursday.

The hashtag was created in a Twitter conversation among Bronco Nation members after Ioane's story became public on Thanksgiving.

All of the profit — $10 per shirt — will go into the Jeremy Ioane Medical Fund, which has generated more than $25,000 in donations in less than a week. Here is his youcaring.com website.

Ioane also received a $7,500 grant from the College Football Assistance Fund in addition to the local fundraising.

Ioane has been covered by his family insurance and university insurance. After he graduates this month, he’ll lose the university insurance.
