Boise State ranks 42nd in merchandise royalties

Boise State ranked 42nd in merchandise royalties during the 2013-14 fiscal year among schools who use Collegiate Licensing Co.

The Broncos ranked ahead of schools like Maryland, Virginia, TCU, Connecticut, BYU, Colorado, Georgia Tech and Vanderbilt.

The top five were Texas, Alabama, Michigan, Notre Dame and Georgia.

Boise State first cracked the top 50 in 2005-06 with a ranking of 49th. Since then, they have stayed in the top 50.

The school peaked at No. 36 in 2011-12, which was quarterback Kellen Moore’s senior year. The Broncos were No. 38 in 2010-11 and 2012-13.
