Former Boise State star DeMarcus Lawrence gets $4 million guarantee from Cowboys

Former Boise State defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence will make more than $4 million guaranteed in his rookie deal with the Dallas Cowboys.

Lawrence signed with the Cowboys on Wednesday.

According to spotrac.com, a reputable source for contract information, Lawrence received a signing bonus of $2,324,836. The total value of the four-year contract is $5,506,650, with $4,335,743 guaranteed.

Lawrence was selected in the second round of the NFL Draft last month. He left Boise State after his junior season.

Center Matt Paradis, a sixth-round pick, got $91,000 guaranteed (just his signing bonus) from the Denver Broncos. The four-year deal is worth $2,311,000.

Offensive tackle Charles Leno Jr., a seventh-round pick, got $46,512 guaranteed (just his signing bonus) from the Chicago Bears. The four-year deal is worth $2,266,512.
