The Boise State football team’s helmets for Saturday’s spring game will have a bit of a new look on them.

Boise State’s official football account tweeted an image of what the Broncos will wear: the standard blue helmets with chrome facemasks, but on the right side with the words “Bleed Blue” in chrome where the logo typically is located.

This is not the first time the Broncos have tweaked what is on the helmets beyond the horse logo on one side and the player’s number on the other.

Against Louisiana on Sept. 20, 2014, the Broncos wore blue helmets with the university’s “B” logo in chrome.

Another week another helmet!

For the 2015 spring game, Boise State sported white helmets with the university’s “B” logo.

In last year’s spring game, the Broncos wore blue helmets without any decals.

Saturday’s spring game begins at 5 p.m., tickets are $10 at BroncoSports.com/tickets or the athletic ticket office on the west side of the stadium.
