Boise State quarterback Ryan Finley is due in court Sept. 28 on misdemeanor charges of minor in consumption of alcohol and resisting arrest.
Finley was scheduled for a pretrial conference Monday, but that proceeding was postponed, a city of Boise prosecutor said. This is the second time Finley’s pretrial conference has been pushed back. The first time was June 15.
Finley is a frontrunner in this offseason’s contest to replace Grant Hedrick, who led the Broncos to a victory in last year’s Fiesta Bowl.
Finley was arrested April 24.

If the case against Finley unfolds as it’s scheduled now, the Broncos will have played four games in the 2015 season before he goes back to court.
