Boise State soccer picked fifth in Mountain West poll

The Broncos are projected to finish fifth in a preseason poll of the conference coaches. San Diego State was picked to win the league with nine of 12 first-place votes and 119 points, followed by San Jose State (three votes, 102 points), New Mexico (90 points) and Wyoming (84 points). BSU, which returns nine starters from a team that tied for sixth last season, received 80 points.

COLLEGE OF IDAHO SOCCER: In the Cascade Conference preseason poll, the women were picked to finish second by conference coaches, receiving one first-place vote. The men were picked seventh. The Rocky Mountain men and Carroll women are projected to win the conference.
